Where I Hang My Hat

Tonight I have truly made this a home for the first time, by cooking dinner in it!  Now yes, I have no furniture and just sit on the floor and eat it, but soon enough I’ll get a desk and chair.  Maybe tomorrow.  Though I’ve been really busy moving in over the last three days, and might want to take a vacation now that everything has (relatively) settled down.  I want to see Nara…

Crazy Dan’s Whisky Yakisoba:

Prep pan with olive oil.  Add soba noodles, stirring and adding oil and whisky to keep moist.  Add pork, cabbage, carrots, mushroom sprouts, and leeks.  Add worcestershire sauce and more whisky, continue to stir until moisture has evaporated.  Uhhh I dunno, does it look done to you yet, room’s getting kinda smoky…

My apartment on moving day, as soon as I dropped my luggage down.

The kitchen zone as it looks now, post-meal. I'm going to do some serious cleaning tonight.

What I see outside my window

My home street

This, yes THIS, is my neighborhood, literally around the corner from my flat.
